Saw Phei Er is a professor at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, and the Director of the Director of Office of Research Integrity (ORI). Ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally in 2023 and 2024, she has published extensively in prestigious journals, including Cell, Science, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, J. Biol. Chem., Cancer Research, Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, Oncogene, and J. Natl. Cancer Institute.
As a leader in research integrity, she founded and heads the Research Integrity Office at her institution. In addition to mentoring numerous postdoctoral researchers, Saw Phei Er understands the challenges faced by non-native English-speaking scientists and is dedicated to helping them overcome these obstacles in their academic careers.
